Aggrieved aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last primaries into various elective positions in Kaduna State have decided to drop all court cases, even as they promised to collapse their structures into the party’s campaign council in the state.

The aspirants, under the umbrella of Kaduna APC Aspirants’ Forum, announced their resolve during a press conference at the party’s zonal secretariat, following a meeting with the governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani.

However, they said talks were still ongoing with two yet-to-be pacified frontline governorship aspirants, Sani Sha’aban and Bashir Abubakar, to shelve their grievances and toe the line.

Chairman, Ishaq Baba Sale, and other executives and members of the forum, pledged they will work tirelessly to ensure APC wins all positions.

Sale said: “We just concluded a meeting with our gubernatorial candidate, Senator Uba Sani. We all know his capacity. We all know the kind of person he is. He is a person that will ensure everyone is carried along.”

“The outcome of the meeting is that we have come together, as a forum, to collapse all our structures into one and support our party’s candidates, from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Uba Sani and all others, to ensure all of them emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections.

“We are calling on other aspirants, who are not in attendance or who are yet to join this movement, to, please, come together and let us fight this battle together for us to achieve success in 2023.”
