Air Force boss to join Buratai in NorthEast

The Air Council under the chairmanship of the Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, has directed the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, to join the Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Tukur Buratai, in the North East to coordinate the Nigerian Air Force operations.

The council which also deliberated on general issues concerning the Nigerian Air Force, especially its roles in support of various operations across the country, also directed Abubakar to reorganize the air operations in support of operations Lafiya Dole in the North East and Sharan Daji in Zamfara State.
