Akeredolu begins 15-day working vacation

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, yesterday, began a 15-day working vacation as the first installment of his 2021 yearly leave. This was disclosed in a statement made available to The Guardian in Akure by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde.

Asks deputy to take charge

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, yesterday, began a 15-day working vacation as the first installment of his 2021 yearly leave. This was disclosed in a statement made available to The Guardian in Akure by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde.

The leave began on Monday, April 3 to Tuesday, April 25, 2023, “both days inclusive.”

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, will take charge of the affairs of the state pending the expiration of the governor’s leave. The statement read: “Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, today, Monday, April 3, 2023, proceeds on a 15-working-day vacation as the first installment of his 2023 leave.”

“In a letter transmitted to the state’s House of Assembly and addressed to the Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun, Governor Akeredolu said the leave would commence from Monday, April 3 to Tuesday, April 25, 2023, both days inclusive.

“While Governor Akeredolu is away on vacation, the Deputy Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, will perform the functions of the office of the governor.
“The governor will resume for duty on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.”
