The provision of infrastructure would form the thrust of the All Progressives Congress (APC), if it wins the governorship election.

The party’s candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu, disclosed this yesterday when he took his campaign to Akoko South East Local Council area.

He promised to partner the Federal Government to develop what he described as dilapidated infrastructure in the state.

The candidate urged the people to vote for the APC so that the state could benefit from the government at the centre.

Akeredolu, who also visited Ipesi, Ifira, Sosan, Epinmi, Ipe and Isua communities, lamented the poor development in the area.

He promised that Akoko would be given priority in the provision of infrastructure, adding that Ebomi Lake in Ipesi would be developed into a tourist attraction.

He said: “The area is a good tourist attraction which the Ministry of Tourism would develop to generate revenue for the state.

“We would work from our first day in office. Whether we spend four or eight years, by the time we finish our tenure, we would be remembered for massive infrastructural development.”
