Outsourcing firm All Talentz and its sister company, The Restore Cooperative, joined more than 750 startups and delegates from over 25 countries at GITEX Nigeria 2026, as conversations centred on technology, innovation, and Nigeria’s role in the global digital economy.

With more than 750 startups from Nigeria and over 25 countries represented at the Startup Festival, the event provided a platform for conversations around technology, innovation, talent and the future of Nigeria’s digital economy.

As part of the event, Business and Digital Solutions Director at All Talentz, Michael Nwoseh, participated in the American Business Council Nigeria panel, “From Startup to Scale-Up: Building Globally Competitive Businesses through U.S.–Nigeria Partnerships.”

Speaking on talent as a strategic export, globally distributed teams and services trade, Nwoseh highlighted the opportunity for Nigerian professionals to participate in the global economy.

During the panel, Nwoseh spoke about the partnerships that can connect Nigerian startups and talent to opportunities in international markets, while highlighting what startups should prioritize as they transition from high-growth ventures to globally competitive businesses.

His central message was straightforward: value must come before visibility. Startups should be able to show traction with at least one to three clients that use its product or services, before thinking of scaling globally or raising funds.

“Startups get so focused on being seen that they forget being useful is what makes people want to see them again. And when I look at what Nigeria has already done for entertainment and technology on the world stage, I don’t see any reason we can’t do the same for our talent. The government has laid real groundwork here — now it’s on the rest of us to build on it.”

He pointed to All Talentz as a practical example of this principle, as a start-up that had less than 30 employees 4years ago when it started, and has now grown to over 500 employees today supporting almost 200 clients across North America.

Nwoseh extended the conversation beyond individual companies to Nigeria’s broader talent ecosystem. He noted that Nigeria has already demonstrated its ability to showcase world-class talent globally through industries such as entertainment, while its technology ecosystem is increasingly gaining international recognition as the global hub for tech talents. The opportunity, he argued, is to apply the same confidence, consistency and global positioning to Nigeria’s wider talent pool.

He also acknowledged the role of government in laying the foundation for a stronger digital and innovation ecosystem, emphasizing that the progress made so far should be viewed as a platform to build upon rather than an objective already completed.

Meanwhile, The Restore Cooperative made its first public exhibition, introducing businesses to its cooperative model, which enables employers to enroll employees as members and facilitate contributions toward defined benefits. Discussions at the stand focused on employee retention and the importance of building formal structures as businesses scale.

The participation of both organizations reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the connection between Nigerian talent, growing businesses and global markets.
