Amotekun nabs father, daughter, others for possession of fresh human parts in Osun

Operatives of Osun Western Nigerian Security Network, code-named Amotekun, have arrested a man, Ganiyu Wasiu and his 21-year-old daughter, Muizzat, with fresh human parts.

Amotekun also arrested seven other suspects in connection with the offence.

The suspects include; Lawal Ibraheem (25), Adiatu Rufus (19), Fatola Niyi (45), Eniola Akeem(42), Chief Amusan (64), Alaba Oyeniran (31) and Oyekola Ibraheem (20).”

It was gathered that the suspects were arrested at Oke-Fia Area of Igege town in Olaoluwa Local Council of Osun State while conveying the mutilated human parts in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag.

Ganiyu, who was prevented from being lynched by a mob, claimed he was set up by her daughter’s husband.

Field Commandant of Amotekun in the state, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, said the identity of the corpse was yet to be known.

He said, “The suspects were arrested in Iwo town in connection with the fresh human parts. The identity of the corpse is yet to be known.”
 
Amitolu noted that all the suspects have been handed over to the Department of State Service (DSS) for investigation.
