Anambra APC caucus promises to work for victory in guber poll
The parliamentary caucus of the Anambra State All Progressives Congress (APC) has resolved to work for the party’s victory in the November 6, 2021 governorship election in the state.
Rising from a meeting in Umueri, yesterday, the Parliamentary Caucus comprising former state and National Assembly members issued a communiqué in which it resolved to unite under the APC to contribute to the success of the party at the state and national levels.
It also resolved to work assiduously, in conjunction with all existing party organs, for APC’s victory in the gubernatorial election and liaise with the party structure to ensure the emergence of the most electable candidate in the state.
The communiqué, signed by 21 members of the caucus, including Senator Emma Anosike, Hon. Afam Ogene, Hon. Ralph Okeke and Chizor Obidigwe, further urged all the aspirants to go about the campaigns with the spirit of sportsmanship, bearing in mind that the party’s interest was more important than their personal aspirations.
They also charged the party to ensure a credible process that would ensure a credible, free and fair primary for all aspirants.
Other members of Parliamentary Caucus who signed the communiqué are Hon. Rebecca Udoji, Nze Chidi Duru and Dom Obiekie, among others.
