Anyiam-Osigwe was positive force in creative industry, says minister
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has mourned founder/Chief Executive Officer of African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, saying she was a strong and positive force in Nigeria’s creative industry.
In a statement, yesterday, by Segun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Mohammed said he was saddened by the passing of the creative amazon, whose contributions to the entertainment industry were stuff of a legend.
While condoling with the family, friends and associates of the deceased, the minister said the best tribute that could be paid to Anyiam-Osigwe was to keep her dream alive through sustenance of the AMAA project.
