Early reports from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial primary elections in Edo South Senatorial District indicate a strong lead for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

At Ugboko Ward 5 in Orhionmwon LGA, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu had an unprecedented turnout of party members and voters queuing for his candidacy.

An elated Ize-Iyamu thanked the people for the massive support and turnout.

With massive voter turnout across all 77 wards in the district, including areas within Oredo, Egor, Ikpoba-Okha, Ovia South West, Ovia North East, Uhunmwonde and Orhionmwon, Ize-Iyamu appears to be on track to secure the APC ticket, as accreditation and voting commenced promptly at 8:00 am, demonstrating strong support for his candidacy.
