The Minister of State for Power, Goddy Jedy-Agba, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) is open to all Nigerians to the party.
Agba stated this yesterday, in Calabar, while on an inspection visit to some registration centres in Cross River Southern Senatorial district, as part of his inspection and membership drive tour.
On Thursday, the Minister visited his community in Obudu Local Council, where he encouraged people to join the party after his revalidation exercise.
And on Friday, in company of the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Usani and other party stalwarts joined him in Ikom, Cross River Central to inspect the exercise.
Agba said: “APC belongs to all of us, and that is why I am here today to see what we are doing. So far, I’m impressed with what I have seen across the state, but like Oliver Twist, I want to encourage us to do more.”
Agba noted that the state has benefitted so much from the Buhari-led administration under the leadership of APC, adding that Cross River stands a better chance if more people register and vote in 2023.
The Minister completed the exercise with the inspection of the ongoing renovation of the party’s new state secretariat, located along Ndidem Usang Iso road, opposite Okona filling station, Calabar.
