The All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, Nasarawa has affirmed Hon. Labaran Maku as the party’s sole candidate for the 2019 governorship election.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Labaran Maku thanked the delegates and the party for giving him yet another opportunity to run as candidate of the party.

The former minister of information noted that the state under the current administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is characterised by insecurity, injustice and poverty and requires a dogged and visionary leader who will rescue it.

Meanwhile, two factions of the Abia State All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) conducted parallel primaries in Umuahia and elected two gubernatorial candidates for the 2019 governorship election.

While the faction led by Rev. Augustine Ehiemere re-elected the party’s 2015 governorship candidate Dr. Alex Otti, the other faction led by Mr. Nnanna Ukaegbu elected Chief Chinkwe Udensi.
