Appreciate God’s faithfulness, cleric urges Christians as Bayode marks birthday

In the spirit of Christmas, Christians have been urged to appreciate God’s Faithfulness irrespective of their present socio-economic challenges in order to enjoy more of his faithfulness.

The Pastor in charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Region 3, Austin Ukaiwe stated this at an event marking the 62nd birthday and book launch of Deaconess Mercy Kokoma Bayode who also unveiled her foundation, DeleMercy Ministry for the Widows (DMFW).

The event which took place in Ikeja, Lagos, attracted several friends and families including, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos; Prof. Duro Oni, Yetunde Vaughan, Leonard Bassey, Mike Ayide, Ben Bassey, Chief Austin Madu, Olu Ogunduyile, Alhaji Bola Azeezi, Senator Ebenezer Chukwuemeka Ekeena, Members of Lions Club, Pastors and Members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 3.


The book reviewer, Dr. Mrs. Josephine Soboyejo said the autobiography of Mrs. Mercy Kokoma Bayode titled, “My Life, a testimony of God’s Faithfulness” was a compilations of testimonies, convictions and religious experiences of God’s Faithfulness, evidence of spiritual formations and a practical proof of God’s goodness in the life of the author.

She said her foundation which has been registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) since 2011, was born out of a desire to help the needy in the society.
