The military hierarchy in the Niger Delta has urged its men and officers to avoid political associations and hate campaigns, but re-dedicate themselves to the services they voluntarily joined to protect their country.

The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) of the Central Naval Command, Yenagoa, Rear Admiral Saidu Garba, speaking during the Jumat prayer to commemorate 2019 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, said the job of the Army called for supreme sacrifice.

The FOC, who worshipped at the headquarters of the Operation Delta Safe (OPDS) Mosque, located at Igbogene, Yenagoa, with senior military officers, called on Nigerians to always pray for the armed forces.
