Army bans sale of petrol in jerry cans in Borno

[FILES] Jerry-cans filled with petrol.
The Theatre Command of Operation Lafiya Dole, yesterday, banned the sale of petroleum products in jerry cans in Borno State.
The Command said the ban was to deny Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists the freedom of action with fuel and logistics.
In a statement in Maiduguri, the state capital, spokesman of Operation Lafiya Dole, Col. Ado Isa, urged the public not to indulge in illicit trade and unlawful business transactions with terrorists groups, warning that anyone caught in the act would face wrath of the law.
