General Council, Assemblies of God (AG) Nigeria has commenced 2024 Peniel Convention with the theme: “ Dominion Through The Light”. The five-day event which ends Friday, November 15, 2024 is taking place at Evangel International Conference Center, Km 48, Enugu/Abakaliki road, Okpoto, Ebonyi State.

Speaking on the programme, the General Superintendent, AG Nigeria, Rev. Abel Amadi premised the conference on reviving the Church and repositioning it for greater relevance.
“The task of the great commission cannot be over-emphasized. Thus, we have to be prepared and make renewed commitment towards this task by empowering the believers to take charge in all areas of life.

“The world is full of moral degradation and as such believers should be moved with compassion to reach out to the teaming sinners” he said.

The General Superintendent remarked that Peniel 2024 with the theme: “Dominion through The Light” will be a memorable one as the fire for evangelism and discipleship would be ignited.

One of the Guest Speakers, Lead Pastor, Bethel Covenant Assembly of God, San Antonio, Texas, United States of America, Dr. John Aniemeke said that without any doubt, the conference would be powerful with the presence of the anointed father and the General Superintendent, Dr. Abel Amadi presiding and other ministers of God such as Assistant General Superintendent (AGO), Rev. Ogba Onyeije, General Secretary, AG Nigeria, Rev. Godwin Amaowoh, General Treasurer, AG Nigeria, Rev. Gabriel Michael also ministering. He added that International Artists such as Sinach and Preye Odede would also be leading in worship.

He disclosed that with his participation at Peniel for about six or seven times and apparently the son of the house, he believed that the word of God would be ministered powerfully and many participants would experience the power of God’s Word.

He assured that believers at the Conference would experience more revelation of Christ as the Light of the world and would have dominion over the things of the earth, adding that there would be transformation and deliverance.
