Atiku’s call for restructuring laudable, says group

A non-governmental organisation, ‘Fully and Truly Atikulated’, has lauded former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, over his call for restructuring of Nigeria as a panacea to a united and stronger country, development of oil-rich areas and religious tolerance.

A non-governmental organisation, ‘Fully and Truly Atikulated’, has lauded former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, over his call for restructuring of Nigeria as a panacea to a united and stronger country, development of oil-rich areas and religious tolerance.

Consequently, it inaugurated its state exco and local government coordinators for the 25 council areas of Delta State at the weekend in Warri to work for his perceived 2019 ambition.

While inaugurating them at a brief ceremony, the South South coordinator, Comrade Ebi Agbor, said: “The reason we are gathered here is for His Excellency, Alhaji (Dr.) Atiku Abubakar, come 2019. As a member of this platform you have been well received info an international family of real democrats.

“Because that name is a name of peace, a name of blessings and a name of courage. I feel honoured to be made the cordinator of South South. This platform is all about one love, and a united country where all are equally treated irrespective of your tribe, religion and social status.

“We have through a thorough research have been able to establish that the only man that can bring about that is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, because he has a sincere blueprint of development.

“Please note that this group is neither APC nor PDP. As members of Atiku Abubakar’s family, that qualifies us for every political office in Nigeria. I want to categorically declare that in this platform, there is no segregation, betrayals and lies or political sentiment, because this platform stands for a united and prosperous country.

“That is why our principal is standing firmly and campaigning for a structured country. Our mission therefore, is to have Atiku Abubakar come 2019 as president of the federal republic of Nigeria. In him we have hope to an indivisible entity.”

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the new coordinators, Hon. Ugo ijomah of Ukwani local government area, said: “On behalf of myself and the coordinators inaugurated and the state excos, I want to thank the zonal coordinator for this, and assure him that we are poised for action.”

    Restructuring is the way forward for Nigeria and I am sure Atiku who has reechoed that call is fully aware of what is to be done and the way to go about them..
    All he needs now is the support of everyone for the 1999 constitution to be amended since it has held the country hostage long enough..
    We’re with the former vice president and we know his intentions are of good..
