President, Auchi Indigenes Club (AIC) Benin, Dauda Momodu, yesterday, called on Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, to fulfill his promise by siting a passport office at Auchi, the administrative headquarter of Estako-West Council of the state.

Momodu also urged Obaseki to sustain efforts in creating direct and indirect job opportunities for indigenes to ensure even development across the state.

Momodu in a statement, personally signed and made available to newsmen in Benin City, expressed gratitude to Obaseki on behalf of indigenes of Auchi Kingdom, over his efforts to deliver socio-economic development across the state.

Momodu noted the challenges citizens of the state have had to endure by travelling long distances from Edo North and environs due to the absence of a passport office.

He said: “We all look forward to the completion and commissioning of the new passport office in Auchi and other dividends of your administration.”
