Bagudu promises to assist UNICEF in Kebbi
Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Bagudu has said that his administration will complement the efforts of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the state’s education sector.
He stated this in Government House, Birnin-Kebbi, yesterday while welcoming Prof. Abubakar Bagudu, a Federal Government consultant to oversee the implementation of Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) programme in the state.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Alhaji Yahya Sarki, the governor promised to do everything possible to complement UNICEF, even with scarce financial resources.
“I expressed my intention of doing something more revolutionary beyond what the World Bank was doing in the education sector of Kebbi to put things right within the limited resources of the state,” he added.
