Bagudu submits 10 commissioner-nominees to Assembly for screening, confirmation

Barely two months after the dissolution of the State Executive Council, Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, has sent names of 10 commissioner-nominees to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation and also three proposed bills.

This was contained in a statement signed by the spokesman of the House, Shehu Mohammed Yauir and announced by the Deputy Speaker, Mohammed Usman, who presided over the plenary yesterday.

Yauir said that the deputy speaker had directed the Clerk of the House to invite the nominees to appear before the House on Thursday, October 13, 2022, for screening.

The House also announced the submission of three proposed bills by the Executive, which include a bill for a law to repeal and re-enact law for the establishment of Kebbi State Polytechnic, a bill for a Law to repeal and re-enact the establishment of the College of Legal and Advance Studies and a bill for a law to amend the establishment of Kebbi State University of Science and Technology.
