The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Abbey Bank Plc, Mr Mobolaji Adewumi, has called on the graduating students of the Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria, to utilise their leadership training to make a meaningful impact in society.

In his address at the 2026 Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony at the school titled, “Leveraging the Learning Environment in NMS: A Pathway for Achieving Your Future Aspirations,” Adewumi listed continuity in learning, as well as adapting and leading with integrity, as top among the expectations from the graduands.

Noting that the discipline, resilience and leadership values they have acquired at the NMS are assets extending far beyond the school’s walls, he urged them to translate such values into lifelong personal, professional and economic success.

He further disclosed that Abbey Bank’s broader corporate mission is empowering individuals and building sustainable futures through financial literacy, human capital development and visionary leadership.

According to Adewumi, under his leadership, Abbey Bank has consistently shown itself to be a catalyst for economic growth, advocating that true wealth creation begins with investing in young minds and equipping the next generation with the tools, financial awareness, and resilience needed to navigate an evolving global economy.
