Bayelsa State is set to host the Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Nigeria (ABBFN) Ultimate Night of Champions from Oct. 3 to Oct. 5 at the Chief D.S.P. Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall in Yenagoa

The event, organised under the patronage of Governor Douye Diri, will feature top Nigerian bodybuilders, physique athletes, bikini and fitness models.

Organisers disclosed that more than N2 million in cash prizes and consolation awards will be won during the championship.

President of ABBFN, Mr Elekima Soye, told journalists that the competition would serve as a qualifier for the IFBB Mr. Universe Championship, scheduled for Oct. 11 in Lagos.

Elekima said: “Top Nigerian bodybuilders, physique athletes, bikini, and fit models would compete at the Yenagoa event. Participation and registration are free. Registration is ongoing at www.abbfn.com.”

He appealed for support and urged the public and private sectors, corporate organisations, philanthropists, and individuals to sponsor or partner with the event.

The ABBFN boss also called on exhibitors and potential sponsors to contact the organisers as soon as possible
