Wife of the Chief of Defence Staff and president of Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Omobolanle Olonisakin, has urged young children to be of good behaviour by shunning all forms of criminalities that could bring the country into disrepute.

Olonisakin disclosed this on Friday in Abuja when DEPOWA donated food items and skill acquisition tools, among others, to the Home of the Deaf at Kuje as part of activities of the year 2019 annual week of the association.

He urged well-meaning Nigerians to support the less privileged in the society through humanitarian services.

She explained that the whole world was facing the problem of moral decadence resulting from the imbibing of wrong cultures and attitudes, pledging that DEPOWA would continue its advocacy campaigns towards ensuring the prevention of criminal vices in Nigeria.

Olonisakin said: “Let me admonish you not to copy bad examples. It is important for you to copy only good examples as taught by your parents and teachers because the whole world is facing the problem of moral decadence which is partly due to our imbibing wrong cultures and attitudes that are not part of our society.

“It is to be noted that one of the best ways at managing the society is to adopt the proactive approach.
