Beta Glass Plc has reported a robust financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025, with revenue rising to ₦149.1 billion, driven by sustained demand for its glass packaging products across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
  
The audited results, approved by the company’s board, show a 27 per cent increase in revenue from ₦117.6 billion recorded in 2024.
 
The growth underscores Beta Glass’ strong market position in West and Central Africa’s manufacturing landscape.
  
Profitability improved significantly during the period, with gross profit surging 71 per cent to ₦52.7 billion. Operating profit more than doubled, climbing 104 per cent to ₦48.1 billion, while profit before tax rose 154 per cent to ₦50.5 billion.
  
Profit after tax stood at ₦33.2 billion, marking a 144 per cent year-on-year increase from ₦13.6 billion in the previous year.
 
Earnings per share also rose sharply to ₦55.41, compared to ₦22.71 in 2024.

The company attributed the strong performance to improved production efficiency, disciplined cost management, and a strategic focus on key customer segments.
 
Margins also strengthened, with gross margin increasing to 35.3 per cent from 26.3 per cent in 2024, while operating margin rose to 32.3 per cent from 20.0 per cent, reflecting enhanced operational efficiency.
  
Chief Executive Officer, Alex Gendis, said the results highlight the resilience of the company’s business model and the effectiveness of its strategic initiatives.
  
He noted that Beta Glass continued to invest in its asset base during the year, including the rebuild of its furnace in Delta State, positioning the company for sustainable long-term growth.
 
Despite ongoing global uncertainties, including geopolitical tensions and their potential impact on energy costs and supply chains, the board expressed confidence in the company’s ability to maintain operational resilience and deliver long-term value.
