The foundation said its activities had focused on improving access to healthcare, particularly for women, children, economically disadvantaged families and communities with limited access to essential medical services.

Its interventions include medical and surgical outreaches for conditions such as uterine fibroids, breast lumps, hernias and ovarian cysts, as well as initiatives addressing maternal healthcare, fertility challenges, antenatal services and reproductive health education.

The foundation also listed health advocacy, medical education, mentorship and community empowerment among its areas of intervention.

It said the next phase of its activities would prioritise expanding medical and surgical outreach programmes, improving access to women’s reproductive healthcare and building partnerships with healthcare institutions, corporate organisations, philanthropists and development agencies.

Other priorities include strengthening accountability and resource management, supporting medical education and mentorship, and expanding humanitarian interventions across Nigeria.

Olowojebutu said the advisory board’s establishment was intended to support the foundation’s growth and improve its capacity to deliver sustainable humanitarian services.

He expressed appreciation to volunteers, medical professionals, donors, partners and supporters who had contributed to the foundation’s work, adding that the organisation intended to build an institution capable of sustaining its programmes over the long term.

The foundation said it would continue to focus on healthcare access and community development as it pursued its expanded humanitarian objectives.
