
The Chairman, Borgu local council of Niger State, Sulaiman Yarima, has felicitated with the people of his council, Nigerlites as well as Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.
Yarima while speaking to The Guardian in Minna, yesterday, urged Nigerians to have deep and sober reflections on what the nation has gone through in the previous administrations, adding that they will have reasons to thank God.
Suleiman noted that the APC-led administration at all levels has initiated various developmental projects aimed at improving the livelihoods of Nigerians, assuring that in no distance future, the growth of the country will be enhanced in all spheres of human endeavour.
The local council boss maintained that he is confidence on the unwavering commitment of the present administration’s effort to boost the economic as well as enhance the security across the country.
He also lauded the Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, whom he described as a visionary leader, noting that the governor has initiated numerous developmental projects across the three geo-political zones that if completed will transform the state to the next level.
“All the 25 local council chairmen are overwhelmed with the leadership quality of Governor Bago, and my colleagues have keyed into the laudable programmes and policies of the governor so as to enable him achieve the desired objectives,” Yarima stated.
He therefore prayed to God to keep Nigerlites and Nigerians as one entity where peace, justice, and fairness will take center stage so that the labour of the leaders at all levels will not be in vain.
