Respected Niger Delta leader and former National Head of Surveillance, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Prince Emmanuel Botu, also known as Olotu, has applauded Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for the notable progress the state has achieved under his leadership.

Botu urged Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Oborevwori’s administration, emphasizing its benefits for the state and its inhabitants.

He posited that with just one year in office, the governor has fulfilled most of his campaign promises, demonstrating his commitment to the welfare of Deltans.

Speaking to reporters after a recent stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, Prince Botu called on Deltans to continue supporting the Oborevwori administration for the good of the state and its people, even as he lauded the administration for the significant progress made under the “MORE Agenda.”

“Governor Oborevwori’s administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to resource efficiency, grassroots empowerment, and inclusive growth. The ‘MORE Agenda’ is a well-thought-out framework driving sustainable progress across the state,” Prince Botu said.

According to him, under Oborevwori’s leadership, the state has experienced significant transformation, marked by remarkable development, sustained peace, and inclusive growth across various industries.

The Niger Delta leader noted that the governor’s policies are charting a course for sustainable development, even as he urged all Deltans to rally behind the present administration’s efforts.

He identified the star projects to include the ongoing fly-over projects being handled by construction giant, Julius Berger both at PTI junction, DSC Roundabout and Enerhen Junction, initiation of 76 road projects spanning 171.49Km and 85.30 km length of drains within one year in office, payment of retirement benefits to Local Government pensioners and retired teachers from a N40 billion facility among others.

He added: “Under the Governor’s administration, Delta State has recorded significant advancements in infrastructure development, agricultural reforms, education, and healthcare delivery. Furthermore, peace and security initiatives have created a stable environment conducive to investment and economic growth.

“Governor Oborevwori’s initiatives, including road rehabilitation, food security programmes, and governance reforms, reflect his unwavering commitment to transparency and accountability. His administration is setting a high standard for leadership in Delta State.

“His visionary leadership is a testament to the power of inclusive and transparent governance. His policies are charting a course for sustainable development, and I urge all Deltans to rally behind his administration’s efforts”.
