Brand announces writing competition for children
Dufil Prima Foods Plc. has officially announced the launch of an essay competition targeted exclusively at its Indomie Fan Club members. The Fan Club is a child engagement initiative of the brand, present in in over 3,000 schools all over the country. The participants are expected to submit their original essays from July 20 till September 20, 2018.
According to the Group Public Relations and Event Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Plc., Tope Ashiwaju, to enter for the competition, every child, who is a registered member of the club, must craft a story not exceeding 300 words in length, based on Indomie’s indomitable cartoon characters and all entries should be submitted at the various schools hosting the club.
According to him, the three best national entries will win N100, 000, N75, 000 and N50, 000 respectively, adding that the best entries in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja will win N25, 000 each. “There will also be consolation prizes for the top 50 entries nationwide. Schools with the highest entries in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja will be rewarded as well,” he said.
National Coordinator of the club, Faith Joshua said the contest is one of the many ways through which the brand is engaging kids by giving them the opportunity to express their creative talents and abilities, adding that Indomie has special interest in children’s developments – physical, social and mental.
