Buhari commiserates with Farida Waziri over husband’s death
President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the family of the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Farida Waziri, and friends of the former Nigerian Ambassador to Turkey, Senator Ajuji Waziri, who died on Monday.
President Buhari yesterday also joined the diplomatic corps and the National Assembly in mourning the death of the former diplomat and lawmaker, who he said, worked assiduously to improve the conditions of his community and the country.
Buhari, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said Waziri’s wise counsels, insight and forthrightness would be missed by his community and the entire country.
He also sympathized with his wife, Farida, the children and the government and people of Gombe State.
He prayed that the almighty God would grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss.
