President Muhammadu Buhari, former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (rtd), the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi Lamido, Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, the Association of Retired Career Ambassadors poured encomium on former Nigerian envoy to Cuba and Canada, Alhaji Abdullahi Attah for his contribution to the development of the nation’s intelligence sector.
Buhari, amidst other well-wishers, felicitated with Attah, who marked his 90 birthday at the Metropolitan Club, Lagos.
Representing the president, the Director General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar, said since it pleased God to spare Attah’s life till 90 on earth “we will continue to draw from your fountain of knowledge, particularly in the area of intelligence, where you have contributed in no small dimension.”
