Former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday visited and held a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. There was no official statement from the presidency on the outcome of the meeting.

When he stepped out after the meeting, the former president declined to speak to State House correspondents, who sought to know his mission in the Villa.

He also declined to speak when asked to comment on the investigation of judges by the Department of State Services (DSS) over alleged corrupt practices.

Specifically, seven judges were arrested between Friday night and Saturday morning in raids that have been condemned by lawyers and Nigerian rights groups.

The former president last visited the Villa in July.
