Buhari to name money recovered and from who on May 29

President Muhammadu Buhari, in a chat with journalists in London shortly before departing for Nigeria yesterday promised to speak on the fight against corruption, insecurity and how he discovered the padding of this year’s budget.

The President, who blamed technocrats, said if he had not discovered the padding, corruption would have crept into the budget.

He added that he would be making a comprehensive broadcast of what has been recovered and from which individuals on May 29, saying he was taking his time because he wants to make sure that those accused are successfully prosecuted.
