Get Guardian on GoogleMultiChoice Nigeria, a CANAL+ company, has officially unveiled its new DStv and GOtv package line-up under its ‘Expect More’ campaign.
This was unveiled at a special launch event held at The Royal Box, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
The Lagos launch brought together media representatives, industry stakeholders, partners and other guests to mark the introduction of the new offering and provide a closer look at what customers can expect from the refreshed packages.
At the event, MultiChoice Nigeria CEO Kemi Omotosho said the new packages were shaped by feedback from subscribers, reflecting what Nigerians have asked for, which is, more value, choice and more content that speaks to them.
Co-hosted by Folu Storms and Deji Osikoya, the evening featured performances from The Loud Choir, who thrilled guests with a medley of some of Nigeria’s biggest songs, spoken word artist Ibukun Ajagbe known as Ibquake and the ensemble.
Other key personalities in attendance included media executive Darey Art Alade and Deola Art Alade, filmmaker Tola Odunsi, actress Enado Odigie, Elvina Ibru, costume designer Yolanda Okereke, BBNaija reality TV stars Temi Nkem, Kola Omotosho and Imisi Ayanwale,and media personalities Uti Nwachukwu, Chuey Chu and others.
The new packages take effect from November 5, 2026, and bring two new channels, SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+, to the lower packages, giving more Nigerian homes access to football and homegrown drama.
Under the new structure, DStv packages will comprise Starter, Select, Sports and Premium, while GOtv customers can choose from Easy, Starter, Select and Sports.
