Chief Sabo Kente, Gov Sule to attend Handyman entrepreneurship summit

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule; Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Aliyu Bello and former governorship candidate for Taraba State, David Kente are set to attend Handyman Entrepreneurship Summit.

The Managing Director of Obba Resource Global, Francis Obieke, stated, yesterday, that the summit, themed ‘Entrepreneurship Workshop: The Making of the 21st Century Artisans 1.0’ was borne out of the need for artisans to continually upgrade their skills.

Public affairs analyst, Muhktar Wakeel, will deliver keynote speech for the workshop, which would be held on March 23 at Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, Nasarawa.

According to Obieke, the summit aims at providing requisite training and retraining of youths by brushing their skills for self-employment and providing them with requisite information on their various fields.

“The company has a designed training structure that will help to fine-tune and enlighten the participants and help them attain the level of standard to enable them be enrolled on the Handyman platform,” Obieke said.
