The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Ebonyi State, Chief Ifeanyi Odii, yesterday, promised to reform the state’s civil service and education sector, among other prospects that would be beneficial to Ebonyi citizens if elected governor next month.

Odii gave the assurance during the flag off of his statewide council campaign rally in Amaeke, Ezza South Council of the state. He further noted that his government would also embark on massive empowerment of youths and women.

Odii, who expressed his readiness to transform the state, industrially, recalled that he had touched lives in the state through his organisation known as Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation.

His words: “Our government will bring empowerment to youths; we are going to encourage our women through robust empowerment, and bring total reform to the state civil service.

“This state, under our watch, by God’s grace, would be industrialised so that every child born in the state will have a job after graduating from school, as well as remove our brothers and sisters from the street as hawkers.

“Our government will bring total reformation to our education system. It would be a government that will not, at any point in time, owe salary to the workers. We are going to give promotion to civil servants as and when due.

We are going to run a government that will pay gratuity, pension, and take well-being of Ebonyians seriously.”
