CJN inaugurates acting CJ, Khadis for FCT, demands service
Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Tanko Muhammad, has sworn in Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf as acting Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and five Khadis for the Sharia Court of Appeal, with a charge for professionalism and justice for all.
He said: “The times that we are in are quite perilous. So, we need judicial officers that will be humble and dispassionate at the helms of affairs.”
He charged the jurists to conduct their affairs within the ambit of the law and the oath administered on them.
The lucky Khadis are Salisu Garba, Bashir Danmaisule, Lawa Sule, Abdullahi Adam Al-Ilorin and a leading Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) prosecutor, Mohammed Salisu Abubakar.
