The Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha, His Grace, Valeian Okeke, has built and donated a N30 million skills acquisition centre to Onitsha Prisons.

The donation was part of activities marking his 65th birthday, which was celebrated as usual at the Onitsha Prisons.

The archbishop said the centre would help in providing various skills for the inmates so that when they come out of the place, they would have acquired skills which would enable them become self-employed and even become employers of labour.
