Cleric tasks FG on border closure, $29.9b fresh loan
Conference President, Lagos East Baptist Conference, Reverend Emmanuel Awotunde has asked Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government on the closure of land borders.
He, however, faulted the government for seeking $29.96b fresh loan, insisting that continuous borrowing would impact negatively on the nation’s economy and future generations.
He advised government to seek alternatives sources of revenue and assured that the effect of temporary hardship would soon metamorphose into a positive impact on the economy for the betterment of every citizen.
Awotunde made the call yesterday during the ordination service of Ebenezer Adejumo and three others at the Okota Baptist Church, Lagos.
