Coalition disowns statement criticising Seyi Tinubu
The Coalition of Lagos Indigenous Youth has disowned a statement circulating on social media that criticised Seyi Tinubu, son of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the coalition’s coordinator, Tunde Azeez, the statement did not originate from the group’s members or executives.
Instead, the coalition expressed its support for Seyi Tinubu, describing him as a “proud and industrious son of Lagos.”
The coalition warned a faceless individual, Ibrahim Whyte, and his cohorts to stop blackmailing Seyi Tinubu while impersonating the coalition.
Azeez stated that the coalition will take legal action if the defamation and impersonation persist.
Seyi Tinubu is a “critical player dedicated to helping young people,” and the coalition will back him if he decides to run for the office of Governor of Lagos State, Azeez added.
