The community leader of Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), Chief Emmanuel Olabisi Ekunola, the Baale of Pahayi land, a major suburb in Ilaro-Yewa, Yewa South Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun State, has commended the senator for his massive contributions to human and infrastructural development of his homestead over the year.

The Baale while addressing participants at the first-ever Pahayi Day Celebration held in the town’s market square, stated that the main motive of hosting this program is to celebrate the cultural values of the places and bring the indigenes together to brainstorm about how funds for developmental projects can be raised.

The community leader while commending Senator Adeola’s developmental stride on Infrastructural development on road rehabilitation in the community, empowerment of sons and daughters as well as the ongoing construction of a Police Station among other multi-million naira projects, noted that it would be an act of ingratitude not to acknowledge the efforts of the Senator in Pahayi community.

“It will be act of ingratitude if on behalf of all of us in Pahayi Land I failed to appreciate and acknowledge the great impact of our illustrations Son, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi to his Father’s Land, Pahayi.

He pointed out that Senator Adeola has successfully provided Solar lights to all the nooks and crannies of Pahayi Land, the completion of asphalt road from Ijado Junction to Orita Pahayi which has tremendously changed the economic and social wellbeing of all of us in this part of Yewaland.

He also lauded Adeola for the ongoing construction of the multi million maternity centre in Pahayi, the first of its kind in Yewa South Local Government for the use of indigenes beyond Pahayi

For all these development initiatives, Chief Ekunola urged all sons and daughters of Pahayi land to go out to everywhere in Ogun State to preach the gospel of “Senator Yayi for Ogun State governor in 2027,” adding that it is not just getting your PVCs, but to also convince people why “it must be Ogun West for Governor of Ogun State in 2027 and Yayi as the representative of all of us in Ogun West.”

The Baale also used the occasion to appreciate the impact and support of the Chairman and Chief Executive of IBD Foundation, High Chief Ibraheem Dende Egungbohun in Pahayi land who has tremendously supported development of the community in time past.
