COVID-19: Oyo discharges 95 patients

Oyo State government has discharged 95 coronavirus patients after they received their second negative test results. Governor, Seyi Makinde disclosed this, yesterday, in a series of tweets.

According to him, this brought the number of discharged cases in the state to 271.

“Ninety-five confirmed COVID-19 cases have received their second negative test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 271,” Makinde said.

The Governor, who is also the head of state’s COVID-19 Taskforce, also announced that COVID-19 confirmation tests for 35 suspected cases came back positive.

The cases were from the following areas: Ido (7), Ibadan Southwest (5), Ibadan North (5I), Ibadan Northwest (5), Oluyole (3), Ibadan Northeast (3), Ibadan Southeast (3), Egbeda (3) and Ogbomosho North (1) local councils.
