Privatisation of the newly-built industries in Cross River State is to wait for two more months to allow for a referendum.

Governor Ben Ayade, who gave the order yesterday in Calabar when the Technical Team of the Privatisation Council gave a presentation of about 34 firms to be privatised, said the decision was to ensure greater participation by the people, as their opinions are being sought to ascertain their support or otherwise for the exercise.
