The Youth Fellowship of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (C & S), Amazing Grace District Headquarters, has urged youths to steer clear of violence, but apply wisdom to elect credible leaders in the forthcoming elections for the country to move forward.

The Youth Fellowship of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (C & S), Amazing Grace District Headquarters, has urged youths to steer clear of violence, but apply wisdom to elect credible leaders in the forthcoming elections for the country to move forward.

It gave the advice, yesterday, during its 22nd harvest anniversary held in Lagos.

The Youth Fellowship Shepherd, Michael Olumide Sotanwa, said the youths, as the future of the generation, should not be misled by politicians into becoming thugs in the forthcoming elections.

He, therefore, urged church leaders to take up the mandate of bringing the youths back in the right steps for the future rather than allowing them to be used as political thugs during the elections.

Also, the Chairman of the harvest, Aderibigbe Adekorede, advised youths to secure their environment, vote wisely and not sell their votes, especially with what has happened to the economy in the past seven years, which has negatively affected individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs and technocrats.

In his own remarks, the President of the Youth Fellowship, Adeleke Adeyemi, urged the youths to draw close to God, as this will have positive impact on governance, especially as they are clamouring for change in the country.
