DIPF launches scholarships for Southeast students
De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF), a non-governmental organisation comprising distinguished sons of Igbo land from Nigeria’s five Eastern States, proudly announces the launch of the 2024 DIPF Scholarships Exercise. This initiative aims to eradicate poverty through education and empower the region’s young minds.
Following the successful awarding of scholarships to 250 students from the Southeast in 2023, the second edition of this commendable programme will commence on 3rd August 2024. This year’s exercise specifically targets primary 6 pupils transitioning to Junior Secondary School 1 (JS1) by September 2024.
The DIPF Scholarships are designed to provide deserving students with educational opportunities and support them throughout their secondary education. Leading this noble endeavour are High Chief Dr. Darlington Nwabunike and Chief Chikezie Okonkwo, the Education Committee Chairman.
At a recent press conference, Dr. Frank Igbojindu, CEO of Best Brain Contest, expressed profound gratitude to the sponsors for their unwavering commitment to promoting education. He pledged his expertise to ensure the programme’s goals are achieved. The Best Brain Contest is the organiser of the scholarship exercise.
The DIPF Scholarships Examination will be preceded by both online and offline registration for prospective candidates. The examinations will be conducted in the capital city of each of the five southeastern states in August and September 2024.
The 2024 DIPF Scholarships Exercise aims to benefit over 250 students from Southeast Nigeria, providing them with the means to pursue their education and realise their full potential.
