Easter: Senator Imasuen tasks Nigerians on sacrifice, love

The Senator representing Edo South, Neda Imasuen has completed a grassroots tour of all seven LGAs in the senatorial District, delivering an Easter message of hope, unity, and responsive leadership.

The town hall tour, which spanned the entire week leading up to Easter, saw the Senator holding direct conversations with constituents — from market women to community leaders — in what many residents described as “one of the most impactful consultations” in recent memory.

“This Easter is not just a celebration of resurrection; it is a call to reconnect — with our values, our people, and our responsibilities as leaders,” Senator Imasuen said in his Easter address.

He noted that the tour offered valuable insight into the immediate and long-term needs of the district, reinforcing his belief that true representation begins with listening.

“What I heard from the people will shape our priorities going forward,” he said. “Every project, every motion, every vote must reflect the real voices of our people.”

Imasuen, who chairs the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received, vowing to deepen his commitment to ethical and inclusive representation.
