A group, the Edo Like Minds, has endorsed Prof. Osariemen Osunbor as their preferred ministerial nominee from Edo State in the incoming administration of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

A group, the Edo Like Minds, has endorsed Prof. Osariemen Osunbor as their preferred ministerial nominee from Edo State in the incoming administration of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The decision was reached at the end of a meeting in Benin City, the state capital, over the weekend.
The group, in a statement by its spokesperson, Lord Amen Osunde, said its choice of Osunbor was in view of his political steadfastness, competence and philanthropy, unlike other political gladiators hiding in other countries after office.

It vowed to clear any obstacle that would hinder the success of his nomination and appointment as one of the ministers to serve in Tinubu’s administration.
The group stated that among politicians in Edo State, Osunbor is known to be fully resident among the people and enjoys their goodwill due to his commitment towards the development of the state.

Osunde said: “We, the Edo Like Minds group, with over 4, 000 registered members in Edo and the Diaspora, hereby endorse Osunbor for minister due to his competence, steadfastness and selfless service to humanity.”
The Edo Like Minds is a non-governmental organisation aimed at uniting and promoting the political interest of Edo people.
