EFCC arraigns aviation ex-minister, Fani-Kayode, over ‘fake’ medical report
Court fixes Dec 17 for ruling on applications
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), yesterday, arraigned former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, before Lagos Special Offences Court in Ikeja over allegation of forgery and procurement of a “fabricated” medical report.
Fani-Kayode was arraigned before Justice O. O. Abike-Fadipe on a 12-count charge, which borders on procurement of medical report from one Dr. Ogieva Oziegbe with inventory No. 00345 dated October 11, 2021, which he allegedly tendered before the Federal High Court in his ongoing money laundering trial.
After entertaining the submissions of the counsel, Justice Abike-Fadipe fixed Friday, December 17, 2021, to rule on their applications.
