An EFCC officer, Remedy Slyvanus Yange, was found dead in the early hours of yesterday at Fadeyi Bus Stop in Lagos.

Yange, dressed in a wine-coloured “senator” material with a black handbag beside him, was discovered lying face up. He was wearing black half-shoes and had his identification card on his person.

Witnesses in a video recording observed no signs of struggle, with his clothing and wristwatch intact.

While EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed Yange’s employment with the commission, he declined to comment further.

Attempts to reach the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Ishola, and the PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, for comment were unsuccessful.
