A physically challenged woman, Adesola Bello, 20, was among the voters who trooped out to vote for their preference on Saturday.
Adesola, who voted at unit 011, Atiba Aafin, 01, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, said, “I am interested in good governance; that’s why I came out to vote for the candidate of my choice.” “I want the government to empower physically challenged persons in the society.”
Also the aged, also in their number, came out to vote, among whom is Pa Ojo Sunday, 80, who was accredited at Ibariba Hall, unit 001 Ilapetu/Ijao, 008 area, Ikere-Ekiti.
At Osolo Hall, Unit 003, Ilapetu, Ikere-Ekiti, some elderly women were also seen waiting for accreditation in anticipation of voting.
