In a bid to continue efforts towards better governance, organisational growth and member collaboration, The European Business Chamber Nigeria (Eurocham) has ushered in a new chapter of executive leadership.
This was at just concluded 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Gala & Awards Night held at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island.
The high-level gatherings convened business executives, board members, diplomatic representatives, and private-sector leaders to review organisational progress and celebrate outstanding commercial achievements.
During the AGM a major leadership transition within the Chamber’s governing council occured. Mr. Yann Gilbert officially completed his tenure as President of Eurocham Nigeria, stepping down after steering the organisation through a period focused on organisational growth and strengthened member collaboration.
Marking a key evolution in governance, the Chamber announced the appointment of Mr. Giovanni Di Gregorio as a new Director on the Board of Eurocham Nigeria.
Mr. Di Gregorio’s background and industry expertise will help guide Eurocham’s ongoing strategy and membership services.
The AGM was followed by Eurocham’s Gala & Awards Night, an evening dedicated to recognising corporate achievement, operational excellence, and commitment to sustainable business practices within the European-Nigerian commercial ecosystem.
Speaking during the evening’s proceedings, General Manager of Eurocham Nigeria, Chigozie Okwara, said that the AGM and gala night showcases the shared vision of European enterprises operating in Nigeria.
”With a strengthened Board and a clear focus ahead, Eurocham continues to build a strong, collaborative network for all our member companies,” he said.
