Stakeholders in events and the small business ecosystem in Nigeria are set to converge on Laurel Events Business Forum (LBF) 2026 in Lagos State to address operational and structural growth, regulatory compliance and cross-border market opportunities.
The yearly business forum, organised by Laurel Events Limited and scheduled to be held on April 28, 2026, at Shasha Event Services Hall, Ikeja, at 9:00 a.m., with discussions anchored on the theme, “Footprint: Success Through Global Synergy,” will provide a platform for knowledge exchange and engagement among entrepreneurs and professionals operating within the events industry and related sectors.
The Conference Event Producer and Chief Executive of Elizabeth Events and Foods Limited, Elizabeth Obisanya, said the event would bring together business consultants, event professionals and financial experts to examine practical challenges facing operators in the sector, including market expansion, pricing, tamong others.
Also, the Chief Executive of Laurel Events Limited and President, Association of Events Vendors Nigeria (ASSEV), Arome Ifeoma, said that among the speakers scheduled for the forum is the Chief Executive of Poise Nigeria Limited, Mavi Sokia Isibor, who will speak on strategies for entering international markets under the topic: “Stepping into New Market: International Expansion Tactics.”
She also said that Business Coach and Global Speaker, Mutiat Olagoke, is expected to address business growth through partnership, under the topic: “From Vision to Global Impact: Leveraging Synergy for Sustainable Success.”
Ifeoma said the sessions would also feature the event planner, Photonimi, Korede Olabanji; Oluwafemi Oladokun of All Cares Events Limited, and Event Consultant, Oghenekevwe Okoh of Glitz Sprinkles Events as speakers.
Meanwhile, Oladokun said the Chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Mowe chapter, Adekemi Adekunle, is expected to provide insights into compliance requirements and digital invoicing under Nigeria’s evolving tax regime.
Other segments of the forum include interactive sessions and practical workshops, including a pricing strategy session facilitated by Tope Louisa Tinubu of White Orange Management Limited.
